A small portion of these wavetables may overlap with other PsyTables volumes, but this edition compiles the full Virus TI–focused sound design project into one complete and dedicated toolkit.

Recommended Usage

These wavetables are especially effective for aggressive psytrance leads, metallic textures, vowel-like morphs, squelchy bass tones, and evolving digital atmospheres. They are designed to work best in modern wavetable synthesizers while preserving the character of hardware-style synthesis.

Licensing

You are free to use these wavetables in your own commercial preset packs. The only requirement is that you include a link to my Gumroad page in your product description or ReadMe file as credit.

FAQ

good to know
Do I need a Virus TI to use this pack?

No. The sounds are derived from the Virus TI synthesis engine but provided as standard WAV wavetables. You can use them directly in software synthesizers like Serum, Vital, Pigments, and others without any hardware required.

What kind of sounds is this best for?

This pack excels at aggressive psytrance leads, metallic timbres, formant-style filters, and complex digital textures created using FM and formant-based synthesis techniques.

Can I use these wavetables outside of psytrance?

Absolutely. While they were designed for psytrance, they're equally useful for techno, industrial, cinematic sci-fi sound design, experimental electronic music, and any genre that benefits from complex sound design.

How do I import the wavetables into Serum or Vital?

You import the wavetables into by dragging and dropping the WAV files directly into the oscillator window of Serum, Vital, Pigments, or another compatible wavetable synthesizer. Alternatively, copy the files into your synthesizer's wavetable folder and restart your DAW or plugin if needed.

Will these work with stock DAW synthesizers?

Yes. As long as your synthesizer supports importing standard WAV wavetables (2048 samples per frame), the files will load and work as expected. This includes stock synthesizers such as Ableton Wavetable and many other compatible instruments.
